A Letter From A 10 Year Old Boy

My heart aches for this 10 year old boy who handed this “letter” to my dear friend Jufren while he is at work. Jufren sent it to me with the caption “A letter from a 10 year old boy”. So I read it and after reading the letter my heart literally fell out for this young boy. I felt sad at the same time and I was wondering if how many boys at his age are feeling the same? Is this how cruel the world that we are living in right now for a 10 year old boy must feel like this?

To be honest, this is so alarming and I would like to share this to raise awareness. That racism is a critical disease in our society right now and we should pay attention and act as fast as we can to eliminate this, so that young generations will be able to see the beauty of the world we are living in.

As our Miss Universe 2019 – Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa, said “I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me – with my kind of skin and my kind of hair – was never considered to be beautiful. And I think that it is time that that stops. I want children to look at me and see my face and I want them to see their faces reflected in mine”. Indeed! It is never too late to have a better world!

“Racial Inequality”

(The Rude Quest)

By: Sami NayfehWhatsApp Image 2019-12-11 at 1.39.36 PM

Here is the letter:

Racial inequality is when people are discriminated against because of the color of their skin, their cultural beliefs or their country of birth. Racial inequality has caused many kids to go to poor schools base on their skin color. Racial inequality is just plain wrong, which is why we need to take action or else many children could be targeted from bullies, coming home in sadness and not even wanting to go to school. So make sure you help because racial inequality is making many people sad, uncared  about and “heart broken”, so do you really want to miss out on this great chance to help? Written and illustrated by Sami Nayfeh in flying colors.
